If you like Game of Thrones (and who doesn't?) you should also try A World of Ice and Fire, it's way newer than ACOK and thus not as polished, but I can see it becoming a totally awesome mod.Īlso, but I'm sure most people are aware of that, Viking Conquest is damn good though it('s just another module and thus a MOD and) shouldn't cost that much in my opinion.Who created this?In the community I am known as Darwin.
(Playing the Skaven overlord: so good!) Anno Domini 1257 is pretty cool as well if you don't mind messing with real people and places. and Warsword: Conquest because it's set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy. I like Prophesy of Pendor as well for all the neat RP-stuff it's adding, like joinable knight orders with quests. If you like messing with politics, you really should get Sword of Damocles: Warlords and/or A Clash of Kings (I prefer the earlier versions like 1.2), both mods include the politics mod and SoD:W even expands it quite a bit. Some look to make minor tweaks to the game, while others convert things so thoroughly it feels like its own standalone game. The Nords are just too strong with their infantry and the Vaegirs have always been good all round, although I feel that's not the case in the mod anymore. Thanks to the sandbox nature of Mount & Blade: Warband it’s given rise to a number of interesting and in-depth mods. The Vaegirs are my favourite faction as well. I think it's time to go home and pledge and figure out what's wrong with my favorite faction. Until just now when Vaegirs lost two main centers within span of a week to the Nords. After a hundred days all factions held their ground quite firmly reclaiming most of the territory they lost. Kingdom powers seem to be quite balanced while I rode around hunting bandits and a doing short term mercenary work. The way troops level and become veterans is quite interesting and like most other changes it makes a lot of sense. I only wish I had chosen a higher difficulty than normal. Pikes and bolts still provide grave danger. I just reached level 30 playing a "meathead" hero (24/24/12/9) and as a heavy horse archer I'm dominating tournaments and battlefields alike. I am diving back into another mount and blade Warband mod today as I continue to wait for my Life of a Crusader bannerlord campaign to be ready. I must say Silverstag is my favorite mod now.
